Ave Maris Stella - 20-minute work for brass, singers and dancers in collaboration with choreographer Kerry Nicholls, commissioned by Purbeck Art Weeks Festival and premiered in May 2011. Further performances in 2011 at the Southbank Centre's Festival of Britain and at the Lucerne Chamber Festival on a tour of Switzerland in October.

Who is Mr Grobe? - BBC Radio 3 commission for Catherine Mackintosh (viola d'amore) and Christopher Bucknall (harpsichord). Premiered on 5th November 2010 in Leeds University Concert Hall and broadcast on BBC Radio 3 on March 2nd 2011.
Firewire - solo guitar work premiered by Steven Hickey at his Gold Medal Recital in the RNCM Concert Hall, June 2010.
Whip Tim Kelly – setting of poem by Jeremy Over for soprano and electronics. Premiered by Olivia Hutchinson on 12th May 2010 and winner of the Rosamund Prize.

Rhapsody in Scu – taking its name from Manchester’s ‘Scu bar’, this work for trumpet and piano was premiered at Coutts 440 Strand in March 2008.
Femmes, oiseau au clair du lune - inspired by the Miro painting of the same name, this work was first performed at the Tate Modern, July 2007, by the NYO Sinfonietta.
tick tock: woo hoo - composed for an NYO wind and brass sextet and inspired by the Ligeti-esque extremes ‘clocks’ and ‘clouds’.
Sugared and Spiced - brass dectet commissioned by Ursula Jones for Philip Jones Brass Ensemble Tribute Concert at St James’ Picadilly, November 2006.
van Breakdown – three movement suite for brass quintet based on excerpts of Ode to Joy. Premiered by Brass Maidens at the Swiss Church, London in November 2006.
Tiddlywinks – ‘Arthur the Great: an enchanting tale of the greatest tiddlywinks player who ever lived’. Work for film and chamber orchestra premiered by NYOGB Sinfonietta in August 2006.

Swing it Ludwig! – brass dectet fanfare commissioned for state occasion on 1st July 2005 when the UK took over presidency of the EU.
